EYC: Prayer and Worship

This is a prayer station experience where students will encounter praying in a unique way. An odyssey is a journey where a person is trying to reach a destination but encounters trials and experiences that shape them. The end of the journey is not the goal; it’s everything that happens in between the start and finish that matters.

A typical prayer experience doesn’t have an order but this one does. It tells the story of Advent from Malachi to Revelation.

Students will journey through:

3. Let There Be Peace on Earth
4. The Dragon Awaits
5. Hope Was Born
6. Fall On Your Knees
7. A Say In How You See
8. Joy To the World
9. Love Lives Here
10. Gifts of the Wisemen
11. The End

In this prayer station experience, students will be challenged to interact with the Advent story in a unique way that will give them new perspective and enhance their prayer lives.

Grounded is a retreat designed to provide space for the middle and high school students to have fun, worship, and wrestle with the truth of the gospel message.

• Grounded is open to all Youth Groups in the Diocese
• This is a great “new student” or “bring your friends” event
• Dynamic speakers and high quality, professional worship music
• Three worship and teaching sessions: Fri Night, Sat Morning, and Sat Night
• Time on Saturday to “hit the town” with our own group
